    In the District Court of Traill County, Third Judicial District.

    I, Ole Kjelsberg, Aged 25 years, occupation Laborer, do declare on oath that my personal descrition is: Color White, complexion fair, height 6 feet, 0 inches, weight 170 Pounds, color of hair light, color of eyes blue, other visible distinctive marks Scar on left thumb.
    I was born in Alten, Norway, on the 20th day of October, anno Domini 1882; I now reside at Mayville North Dakota.
    I emigrated to the United States of America from Throndhjem, Norway on the Vessel Arabic; my last foreign residence was Alten, Norway.
    It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, and particularly to Haakon VII, King of Norway, of which I am now a subject; I arrived from the port of New York, in the State of New York on or about the 22nd day of May, anno Domini 1904; I am not an anarchist; I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy; and it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and to permanently reside therein: SO HELP ME GOD.
